Road to Hana- Ke’anae Peninsula

This was one of our favorite stops. We veered off the Road to Hana to visit the Ke'anae Peninsula. The first promise was that we would find amazing banana bread at Aunt Sandy's. That was accurate. I make a mean banana bread, but I've got nothing on Aunt Sandy. This stuff was incredible. Sadly, we were there too late (by like one customer) to try her coconut candy. We bought some in a few other places, but as each was different I am still curious about this one. After we had our banana bread, we headed for the beach- it was covered in lava rock and no sand! My favorite kind of beach. We saw the most interesting things in the tide pools here, one of which I think was a moray tiger eel aka eel snake.
