North Carolina

We drove to NC on Tuesday and spent a few days with Grandma and Pa. We did some antiquing, visited the zoo, played some games, and tried some new restaurants. 
 

Christmas

He may be older, but we still managed to surprise him! Christmas morning at home before visiting family. We had an early dinner home because we were leaving early Tues. for NC.

Rain

 

The weather was a bit crazy today. There was a three hour school delay for rain and there were trees down and flooding all around. After I picked Ethan up from school we thought we should stop and see this thinking it was an unusual event- let's hope so. 

By contrast, here's a picture from another time I thought it was pretty high- 

and one other- but it wasn't nearly as wide as today

Funny thing is, it was so down to a trickle in September of 2022 that we stood under them!

Dr. Worm, They Might Be Giants

The band did a great job with their concert last night. The videos uploaded out of order, the Bach song was actually first. One of the students arranged percussion for the They Might be Giants song. You can't really see Ethan for much of the concert, but if you want to try to pick out his trombone, it's between/behind the second and third flautist from the right.
