Honors Music Festival

Ethan was one of several kids from his school who participated in the 3rd annual Honors Music Festival at Western CT State University on Saturday. They arrived at 8:30 and practiced until the concert at 2:30. The group hadn't played together before. They (and their instructors) did a fantastic job.

Spring Concerts Part II

 They combined the concert band (9th grade) with the symphonic band (10-12th grades) for this concert, otherwise there one have been one more group. As it is, we were there from 5:45-9:15, so it's all good- but it was a little tight getting them all on stage!

Spring Concerts- Part I

The school decided to combine what are usually three separate concerts into one concert. It was a very long night! They did a great job, though. I'll post the Jazz Band first, they played during the first part of the concert when the ensembles were on.
