One of the best things about the field trip to Bullet Hill School was that some of the kids wrote their thank you letters to me. This was, of course, my favorite. The picture is of Ethan and I playing graces. It's a game with a large wooden ring that looks like an embroidery hoop. Each player holds two dowels about an inch round and a foot long or so, you cross them and toss the ring to the other player as you uncross them. The other player has to catch it and return.
