Saturday

Saturday we had a lot of errands to run. We started off with an early breakfast at Laurel Diner, making up for their vacation on Mother's Day. Then we headed to Danbury to look for patio furniture. No luck. We did manage to buy a light fixture for the bathroom and one for Ethan's room, so it wasn't a total waste.We came home and accomplished a few chores, had lunch, and then decided we would see if we could check out the four baby river otters at the Beardsley Zoo on our way to another patio furniture store. Little did we know that our favorite puppeteer/singer was there to do a show, so our zoo trip was all backwards. But we saw the show, and then the river otters playing around. We saw two peacocks strutting their stuff with their tail feathers fanned out. We also saw the new leopard for the first time. We wound up getting furniture at home depot because we couldn't get it immediately anywhere else, so mission accomplished we headed home.
