Watching the Garden Grow

Today was another busy one. We started out with a leisurely breakfast (Ethan had waffles and blueberries) and then we went to tumble class. After that, we took a walk to to the green and around, and then back home to play with bubbles and sidewalk chalk. When it started getting gray we went inside and mixed up some bread dough. Then it was time for lunch, followed by a very spotty nap interrupted by thunder, wind, and rain. He sure was cranky when he woke up. We played in the basement and built a fort since it was all wet outside. We played in the fort for a while then we went upstairs and got a few things ready for dinner and decided it was dry enough to go out back and check out the garden. What a difference a few days make. The beans really shot up and so did the peas. Ethan was pointing things out to me, telling me he couldn't play in there. The picture where he's looking up is because he wanted to see a helicopter. There was none to be found though, so we went back in to finish making dinner.

Well Ethan, Pa and I just spend 2 hours this morning in our garden pulling out the dead broccoli, cauliflower and brussel sprouts and planting new tomatoes and sweet peppers. We also picked some yummy raspberries. Your garden looks great, wait til you get a chance to eat something out of it. It's the BEST!!! Hope it grows quickly. Love you
