Funny Boy

Today Ethan and I went to Target for big excitment. When we were done there, we went to the playground where he refused to play with the other little boy from our playgroup who was there. He was more interested in a little girl who wasn't with our group. He went on the swing, and the slide, and played this weird little keyboard they have. He also crawled through the tunnel. Then we stopped at the library to return our movies, and he doesn't quite understand why he no longer has an Elmo movie. After nap, we went to the farmer's market where it started raining on us again, but not before we got a loaf of bread. We ran in the store for milk and bread and then came home. We were in the kitchen getting dinner ready and Ethan was having fun on his car when he plotted his burglary. He got off the car, went to the counter, snatched the loaf of bread and ran into the living room. He kept trying to open it, and didn't understand why he couldn't. He also thought it was quite funny that I couldn't get it away from him. Perhaps had he eaten his lunch he wouldn't have been so hungry, but he REALLY wanted a piece of bread. He didn't want the nice bread from the farmer's market either, he wanted the sliced store bread I got for sandwiches. I finally broke down and gave him a piece, and of course he didn't eat his dinner. The kid is impossible. But he really thinks he's hysterical. He also likes to tickle people, as crazy Uncle Derek found out when he visited on Tuesday so watch out!

The eating habits of toddlers are not the greatest much to mama's dismay. He could be eating worse things than bread for dinner. How cute... Love that smile! Makes me just want to reach out and hug him... sounds like you had a busy day.

Once again you have started my day out with a good laugh and smiles. Linda you are so talented with the blog and Ethan you sure do give your momma lots of material to write about. Not to mention the great pictures and how cute you are.
