After finding a roadside America stop to see the Blues Brothers, we made the attempt to do a few things in Acadia. We had planned a lot more, but the weather just didn't cooperate. We saw the Bass Harbor Head Light House and then we stopped at one of the pull offs near the shore. The rocks were incredibly slippery and it didn't seem very safe to try to do any trails in the weather, so we gave up and headed to Bangor. The July 4th craft fair had been cancelled, and the parade was happening but we didn't want to stand in the rain to watch it.
