Snowfall at the Falls

Ethan had a friend's birthday party today to go to. It was rescheduled from a snowy day last month. Luckily today wasn't snowy enough to matter, so we went to the party. On our way home, it was coming down pretty good and I noticed that there was no one at Southford Falls. So we decided to make an impromptu stop for a mini hike and snowball fight. We even shook a tree to make it snow on our heads really hard. When we were cold, we headed home for hot chocolate!

A beautiful outing! It looks like lots of fun and refreshing to get out for a walk in the snow. Its snowing tonight in NC.

What a beautiful backdrop you have for the fantastic pictures of you and mom Ethan. Did you choose that spot? How fortunate are you to live in Southbury near a park with a waterfall! You all did a great job choosing that neighborhood to live in.
Hope to see you soon!
