Winter Outing

We planned to go to MA to see our friends Jeannie and Kurt and Elise overnight today and tomorrow. But the weather once again decided our agenda, and they graciously agreed to meet us at Old Sturbridge Village instead. It was cold outside, but they had plenty of indoor activities. They also had a sleigh ride. Ethan and Elise marbled paper. We took in a shadow puppet show, where the man tried to explain various types of puppets by referencing the Muppets- so Ethan was very upset at the end when he realized the Muppets were not coming on next. He managed to get over it though. We also milked cows, tried on clothes, played in a general store (and one we apparently were not supposed to be playing in- the stanchion was not up and the "don't touch" sign was only on one counter- with all the please touch stuff they have going on, they might really want to clarify) It was a fun time, I expect we'll be back again. Ethan seems to be over his second stomach flu which hit last week. Hopefully he can stay clear of any more.

Is that Ethan milking a cow? The sleigh ride looks like fun too. Glad you got together for a while. It's nice to see friends. Hugs and kisses!!!

Ethan, it looks like you and your friend had a great time! What a great place to visit and have fun during the winter. The horse cart ride looks like a fun adventure.
Lucky you! Love you lots!

Your outing sounds like it was a great learning experience along with being fun to be with your friends. I can remember sitting on my cow while your Great Grandpa milked her. Her name was Slowpoke.

Love you all
