On Wednesday it was still wet and nasty out, so lacking any other indoor activity we found a mall and wandered around it. Ethan looked at the Santa and other Christmas decorations which were of course already up. He's much more interested in things this year. He likes to ask "what's going on here?" when he doesn't understand something. While we were in the mall we decided to go in the Build a Bear Workshop. It could cost a fortune if your kid wants to dress the thing, but we figured Ethan wouldn't, and we were right. He chose a puppy and we filled it, rubbed two little cloth hearts together while closing our eyes ad making a wish, then put them in the puppy. When he was done getting sewn up, we gave him an "air bath" and brushed him. On our way out of the mall we tried on hats. There's one person missing from the picture and we were thinking of her. Ethan tried one on that he thought she might have liked.
