We took a VERY VERY long hike through Paugussett State Forest in Newtown to get to Pryden Falls. It was one of those hikes that would have been great if it ended when we got to the falls, but having to go all the way back on the same trail was a bit dull. Well, technically we could have walked a loop that would have added 4 miles, so we opted not to. That might be a good warm weather activity. The falls were pretty though, and it was nice to do something different.
