I was able to chaperone Ethan's field trip to the Maritime Aquarium. We had a small group, which was nice, but the aquarium may have overscheduled the day as it was packed to the point where we had to physically stand in the hallway with our hands up to make people stop to let his friend who uses a wheelchair get in the elevator. It was nuts. It didn't help that the bus dispatchers decided to send us on a really ridiculous route that made what should be a 50 minute drive take an hour and a half, so after we arrived and sat through a 40 minute video about the grand canyon, they hardly had time to look at anything. Thank goodness we brought the mad libs for the long bus ride. We were on the little bus, so it wasn't too loud and the kids had a great time with them.
