Visiting a CT beach was on our summer bucket list. While it's not exactly what I had in mind when we made the list, the only one that seemed like a possibility with all the moving nonsense that sucked up most of our summer was Kettletown State Park. We met up with Ethan's buddy Brandon and his dad who had been there before on Cub Scout outings. The kids had a great time. They swam, dug in the sand, built castles, and chased ducks. It was a really beautiful day so that helped too. Brandon's dad hung out in the water with them which was especially nice as I thought it was a little chilly!
