The pictures are backwards, go from the bottom up. We went to Cape May NJ last weekend. We stopped in Philadelphia along the way to check out a German village and the Reading Terminal Market (not a good idea on a Saturday). We got to see some very fun sculptures though, including this giant paintbrush, wheelbarrow and iron. When we got to the hotel we had some hot chocolate and looked at their lights. On our way to the restaurant where we had dinner we saw a house covered in Santas. There were at least three climbing up railings in various places, one trying to get in the chimney and a few on the front. Sunday we had breakfast with Santa and the Blue Pig, the hotel's mascot. Then we went to look around for a while, had lunch and a nap, hunted for some shells on the beach, had dinner, and eventually went on a trolley ride to see the Christmas lights. Before heading home we checked out the Cape May County Zoo, which was very nice, very empty and very cold. But the animals were surprisingly active. The bear sat to visit with us, the tiger grunted at us, the cheetahs chased each other, and the giraffes did a lot of walking around.

The animals were probably very happy you went to visit them since not alot of people thought to go in winter. You seem to have had the place to yourselves, you Mommy and Dad! The bear looks comfortable and the giraffes seem right at home having you around!
It sure looks like it was a fun trip for Mom's birthday. What an adventurist you are Ethan.
