Saturday we decided since it was such a nice day we would take Ethan to get a pumpkin. James and his paranoia about taking him in public places does not apply to the great outdoors. So we found a place in Southbury that advertised we could pick our pumpkin from their pumpkin patch. We left the house and the sky got cloudy and it started raining. But we kept going, and by the time we got there it was sunny and nice again. And Ethan had fallen asleep. He had no interest in picking his pumpkin, which is a good thing because they meant pick as in choose, not as in take it off the vine. Here are a few pictures that show how thrilled Ethan was to get a pumpkin.
